Coaching Pain Points

On Thursday, Aug. 24, Nicole Christensen (CF-L4) sat down with Eric O’Connor (CF-L4 and co-managing editor of the Professional Coach) and Pat Barber (CF-L4), a longtime Seminar Staff head trainer who also works with Best Hour of Their Day to develop CrossFit coaches.

The conversation was lively, questions were answered, and we have lots more to cover!

They answer questions such as:

  • How do you deal with athletes who come to your class but are clearly checked out, don’t want to do anything, and are generally throwing off the energy of the class?
  • How do you coach and help the “uncoachable” athlete?
  • How do you maintain an invigorating class for a range of athletes?
  • How do you deal with athletes who just don’t want to try new skills?
  • Have you experienced a client’s comments around specific warm-ups/progressions and not wanting to “waste their reps” before the workout?
  • And more!

Thank you as always for what you do for coaching and affiliates. These webinars are very valuable. Also, Nicole, I love your poster. Gonna have to find one for my office :)
